Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the practical training in the Solid Team, s.r.o. company where I worked as an IT specialist. On my individual practice training I worked on several projects; two significant projects are discussed in the thesis. The first part of the bachelor’s thesis describes transferring network management of the Štěrkovny Olomouc, a.s. company. I was tasked with ensuring trouble-free transfer of the existing network management to Solid Team, s.r.o. I had to find out the real condition of both active and passive network elements and obtain knowledge of the company’s needs for communication services. Because of the obsolete hardware I also had to propose revitalization or replacement of active elements and project realization of data connection between the company seat and its branch several kilometers away. The second part of the thesis deals with projecting and realization of the IPTV server with free DVB-T digital multiplexes in the Czech Republic territory and with providing necessary legal documents for free distribution of the media. This service was put into operation in the MaxLINKWiFi wireless provider company.
