Abstract

The thesis deals with the application of several selected knowledge management principles in business practice. Knowledge management with its own tools and methods introduces an unique concept. This thesis theoretically describes knowledge background from literature and the current state of knowledge management used in the company United Polymers, Ltd. The special attention is given to the methodology of KM – BEAT – IT method and PERMANENT model. The both methods have been used for analysis current state of knowledge management in order to find and to propose activities that will lead to improved the environment knowledge management in that company.
