Využití zdrojů ionizujícího záření v důlní praxi

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the technical utilization of the ionization sources in technologies in the mine as well as on the surface at Důl Paskov and analyses possible replacement of ionization sources by other suitable physical principles of measurement at Důl Paskov, and thus from the environmental point of view the possibility to reduce or completely eliminate the utilization of ionization sources. The introductory part is concerned with the reasons for this thesis. The second part consists of theoretical description of possible methods of measuring a loose materials level using ionization sources. The third and the fourth part deal with a contemporary situation of ionization sources usage at Důl Paskov and provision of safety standards in the workplace with ionization sources gamma. The fifth and the sixth part contain explained principles of level measurement technique of gamma radiation and possibilities to replace them by safer way of measurement. The final part evaluates possible solutions oriented to environmental protection.
