Vliv fylosilikátů na mobilitu polutantů z metalurgických odpadů

Abstract

The project deals with the influence of phyllosilicates on the mobility of pollutants in dust from the production of cast iron. The adsorption capacity of vermiculite in adsorbing pollutants such as Zn, Pb, Cd (whose presence was detected into the analyzed metallurgical waste) was investigated. This waste has been classified as hazardous, because it contains elevated concentrations of the aforementioned elements. Furthermore, this work also deals with the effect of the concentration of vermiculite added in the experiments and includes a comprehensive analysis on whether the process of elimination pollutants for the disposal of hazardous metallurgical waste is environmentally acceptable.
