Abstract

This bachelor thesis is based on completion of professional practice in company Q-ELEKTRIK a.s. Theme of bachelor work is reconstruction of an arc protection on substation. The first chapter outlines the main focus of the company, it’s scope of activity and also my job title and classification. Second chapter describes tasks assigned to me during practice with their time demands. Next chapter focuses on theoretical knowledge that I had to learn and understand, to be able to install arc protection and also to see, what is generally expected from these protections. Theoretical part is followed by a practical part, in which I show the actual reconstruction of switchboards and purpose of arc protection. In the final part I mention knowledge applied and obtained throughout the practice and also overall practice evaluation.
