Abstract

Discharge from debts is one of modes of resolving insolvency according to Czech Insolvency Act (Act N.182 / 2006 Coll.). The aim of the thesis is to characterize the course and evaluation aspects of citizens in the insolvency proceedings. In the theoretical part each phase of insolvency proceedings from the start is designed, i.e. the approval or rejection of the petition, the form of discharge and specifications after the termination of the proceedings exemption from debt balances. In the practical part the economic aspects of citizens in discharge and both a way of realization of assets and the payment schedule are evaluated. The work uses comparative methods based on calculations and statistics based on real stories. To complement context aspects of discharge from debts a public questionnaire was selected, which closes the economic impact on borrowers. In conclusion, the evaluation findings is supplemented with SWOT analysis.
