Abstract
This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a system for simulating the movement
and behavior of multi-legged creatures in the Unreal Engine environment. The introductory part
presents the key principles and technologies relevant to the addressed problem. Based on this
analysis, suitable approaches are selected and subsequently applied in the design and implementation
of the resulting system. The implemented solution enables the simulation of both movement and
more complex forms of behavior in a dynamically changing 3D environment. The functionality of
the system, as well as its limitations, are verified using test scenarios that allow interaction through
virtual reality and also serve to analyze the performance requirements of the solution.
