Analýza bankovních poplatků v České republice

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with bank charges and income from charges of four most significant banks, i.e. Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, Komerční banka and UniCredit Bank. Target of this work is to analyze the bank charges and ascertain the influence on these charges should the present financial crisis. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on the history of banking, the inception of the first commercial banks. The theoretical part also contains description the famous Charles connected with the current account for individuals.The practical part is done a comparison of profits from financial activities of banking sector, particularly income from charges and commissions in 2006 - 2009. Then there is analyzed the development of yields "Big Four" in the years 2006 - 2009 and their comparison is made. This section outlined the impact of financial crisis on charge yields. There is also mention the problem of lucidity tariffs banks.
