Řešení parkování u dvojice bytových domů v centru Ostravy

Abstract

The aim of this project is to develop a proposal for a parking solution in the center of Ostrava, in the vicinity of two residential buildings. The designated area is located between the streets Poděbradova, Žerotínova, and Soukenická. The necessary increase in parking spaces, pedestrian traffic, and accessibility for barrier-free use of the proposed areas will be taken into consideration when designing the solution. A calculation of the required parking spaces will be prepared to supplement all the input parameters. To ensure greater objectivity of the proposal, three solution variants will be developed, which will be subsequently evaluated and compared between each other to find the solution which is most suitable to accommodate the given requirements. The selected variant will be further developed in detail at the level corresponding to a feasibility study. The design solution will not take into an account the restrictions arising from the current placement of underground utilities in the designated area.
