Abstract

The thesis deals the competitiveness of Insurance Company on the Health Insurance Market. Are explained in the theoretical part of the thesis The basic concepts regarding of competition, competitiveness, problems of Health Insurance Companies and their activity. Next are investigated the approaches to demarcation factors of competitiveness from most authors. In the practical part of the thesis is applied to selected group Health Insurance Companies the competitive analysis. Aim of this thesis is to evaluate competitiveness of selected Health Insurance Company given to its competitors and to suggest and to recommend areas for improvement and options future focus of Health Insurance Companies. To meet this aim were used methods: vertical analysis, horizontal analysis, Benchmarking and Basic method multicriteria decision.
