Abstract

In its first part the diploma thesis is devoted to the causes of the transition of coal-fired power plants and heating plants to other alternative fuels, especially for the combustion of waste biomass. It also discusses the technical measures arising in the preparation of waste biomass treatment on the sorting line, resulting in problems with biomass treatment. Processing of supersaturated in biomass, above all, but removal of unwanted stone impurities in the supplied biomass. These cause a poor rise of the fluidized layer in the fluidized layer boilers and cause faulty shutdown of the boilers. The purpose is to design a solution for optimizing the sorting line for the processing of waste biomass with the smallest possible share of stone admixtures in the output product.
