Posouzení koroze a pevnosti šroubů podvozku vagónu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of corrosion attack in screws that were mounted on the bogies of the wagon. These rail vehicles were exposed to the external environment, where they are located for one year in the storage facilities. The aim of this work was to expect the cause of degradation of delivered metric hexagon bolts M16 x 90 mm, according to ISO 4014. In order to achieve these goals, the following works have been demonstrated in the experimental sections: • Corrosion evaluation on selected screws, stereomicroscopy observations. • Study of the microstructure of the reference and attacked screw. • Determination of Geomet 321A+VL protective coat thickness and comparison. • Determination of hardness and strength of supplied fasteners.
