Abstract

This dissertation deals with the Czech Republic’s social support system, emphasizing its law element. It covers one of the realization components of the social security system within the state. The theoretical part outlines the main terminology, characteristic for particular benefits, in addition to the conditions that determine availability of the welfare. The analytical part is dedicated to the development of new benefit systems in particular districts of the Moravian-Silesian region. The conclusion illustrates suggestions for improvements that could potentially lead to a simplification and cost saving within the state social support system.
