Analýza zaměstnávání cizinců z 3. zemí na území České republiky

Abstract

The number of foreigners has been constantly growing lately in the Czech Republic. Some people find this fact as a positive one and support foreigners in their strive for adjusting to the Czech realities. Others take those foreigners rather negatively as such situation results in the decreasing number of workplaces, increase in criminal activity, etc. The topic of the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic is a controversial one within the community. These diploma thesis are dedicated to one of the fields concerning the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to describe and evaluate those most important barriers which are being faced not only by foreigners during their entrance to the Czech labour market but also by their employers. This work presumes some suggestions and pieces of advice, which may contribute to the improvement of the current situation. The thesis consist of the theoretical part where are the very main concepts are explained. Also, there is a comprehensive description of the process of how foreigners obtain their work permit as well as work visa. Besides, there is also a description of the current situation on the Czech labour market. The practical part then stands for the analysis of the obstacles appearing while the employment of foreigners. This is processed from the different points of view. In the introduction, there is the evaluation of the statistics regarding the residence of the foreigners coming from the third world countries. This part is then followed by the interview and a survey (questionnaire) assessment, which demonstrate the problematics of the labour-law relationship from both viewpoints. An integral part is also played by the suggestions and advice which could contribute to the improvement of the actual situation.
