Struktura a vlastnosti ADI litiny

Abstract

This final diploma thesis is focused on a description and experimental production of austempered ductile cast iron (ADI), testing of mechanical properties and evaluation of the microstructure. Complete production process of default ductile cast iron and final ADI iron is described. Closer look is aimed at chemical compositions of default ductile cast iron, subsequent heat treatment (austempering), testing of mechanical properties, examination of microstructure, x-ray analysis and SEM fractographic analysis in order to determine the most convenient procedures and properties of initial production of ductile cast iron and its heat treatment to ADI.
