Abstract

This thesis deals with the design of a small hydroelectric power plant on the penstock of raw water from Kružberk dam to the water treatment plant in Podhradí. The first part summarizes the technology of electricity production in small hydropower plants, as well as analyzes water facilities suitable for the location of SHP and finally sums up current legislation relating to the design and operation of SHP. The second part deals with specific design in selected area and at the end estimates gross annual turnover of designed SHP.
