Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is a description of subsurface safety valves. In the first part, the work focuses on the origin, history and then moves on to the method of installing safety valves. The rest of the chapter describes the types of subsurface safety valves across global companies operating in the European market. The third chapter is devoted to the uncontrollable leakage of gas from the probe due to the fall of a tree on the cristmas tree, a description of the regulations under which the installation of subsurface safety valves falls and, last but not least, a general description of safety valve installation. The last part focuses on the comparison of used safety valves in our country and in Germany.
