Abstract
The work deals with the life, work and scientific legacy of professor František Pošepný. Also processing his brief biography. Describes scientific research on significant deposits of 19th century. Another part is devoted to his important scientific work, specifically his overriding part of Genesis ore deposits. The last point id focused on the professional tour, in which we follow his footsteps.
