Individual Professional Practice in the Company

Abstract

This bachelor thesis documents my professional practice at Vivicta with our customer Lyse, a Norwegian energy company, where I worked as an integration systems developer. The practice began with an internship focused on developing QManagement, a Progressive Web Application with Augmented Reality capabilities for office navigation. The application was built using Django for the backend, React with TypeScript for the frontend, and Unity for AR features. Following the successful completion of the internship, I transitioned to a full-time position working on enterprise integration projects. In this role, I developed and maintained Flask-based REST APIs responsible for synchronizing data between multiple database systems including MariaDB, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service. This thesis describes the projects I contributed to, the technologies I worked with, and the professional skills I developed throughout the practice period totaling 56 working days.
