Abstract

Subject of this graduation theses is Employee Development. The development means improving an initial state, and as employees are regarded as the greatest wealth of every organization, they must be developed and it means to expand their knowledge and skills.

The aim of the graduation theses is in collaboration with responsible staff of Advanced Plastics Ltd. maping the differences between the previous and the current system of employee development and comparing them with selected indicators. Another objective is to identify employees attitudes and opinions of the new system of employee development in the organization and knowledge of the new system. It was assessed using a questionnaire survey conducted among employees of the AP. For comparison is the sample of respondents consisting of two groups, of workers and of the salaried employee.

The graduation theses is divided in two main parts. The first part is theoretical and contains explanations of basic concepts related to the topic. The second part is an application and focuses on Advanced Plastics Ltd., its characteristics, history, present and especially the system of employee development.

Based on information obtained from the company and from the questionnaire survey were derived the suggestions and recommendations, which are contained in Chapter 4 and in conclusion.
