Numerická simulace interakce koaxiálního vodního a vzduchového proudu ve vzduchu a ve vodě

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on numerical modeling of a water jet surrounded by protective airflow in the COMSOL Multiphysics software. The theoretical part summarizes the findings involving fluid dynamics, highlighting conservation laws, flow classification, and multiphase flow description. Various modeling methods are introduced. In the practical part, single phase models for air and water are created first; corresponding to generation of a water jet with coaxial air shielding. A simplified multiphase model is introduced then. Based on the simulation results, possibilities of the further modelling development and improvement are suggested.
