Abstract
The subject of this bachelor thesis is capacity and safety assesment of current junction.
This thesis follows up with a traffic survey, determination of capacity of the existing intersection
and safety analysis, i.e. accident and incident analysis. Subsequently, changes of construction
layout of the current intersection, including solutions of flaws, are addressed, which are then in
conclusion evaluated. Simulation models made in PTV VISSIM and drawings of the current
junction and proposed options are part of this thesis.
