Analýza ekonomického postavení podniku

Abstract

This thesis deals with an appraisal that shows financial position of BS Vsetín, s. r. o., which during the period of 2004 – 2008, to which specific methodical instrument of financial analysis were used. The theoretical part is focused on defining the basic of financial analysis, important source of data and constituent methodical instruments, which are usually recommended by subject publications. Rations that were later used in the application part of this thesis are described in detail. The results of the rations, which can be found in the application part, are compared according to the time, eventually they are compared with figures and ranges, which are recommended by professional sources. The final part of this thesis consists of suggestions and measures that should lead to improvement of the company’s financial position in the future. The contribution of this thesis is an impartial view on the financial health of the company, affectivity of its functioning, and also recommendation how to improve the current situation.
