Finanční analýza vybraného průmyslového podniku

Abstract

The diploma thesis aims to perform a financial analysis of the company Tatra Trucks a.s., which operates in the automotive industry. The first part of the work presents the company in the characteristics, which describes the history and present of a company producing trucks of a unique concept. The second part of the work is focused on the theoretical basis of financial analysis, they deal with the basic financial statements on which the analysis is based. In the third practical part, a horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss statement, analysis using ratios, Du Pont pyramidal decomposition and bankruptcy and creditworthiness models are performed. At the end of the work, proposals and recommendations are presented, plus a general summary of the work.
