Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with issue of fiber optic sensors and their practical application in industry.FOS is used to sensing different kind of physical magnitudes for many years.The main principle of the sensors consists in modulation of the transmitted light signal of the certain physical magnitude, through an optical fiber. Properties of optical fibers determines the overall characteristics of the sensors. The main purpose of the thesis is performed a theoretical analysis of fiber optic sensors and their basic optoelectronic parts. In the practical part design a measurement system utilizing of the telecommunication fiber optic to sensing the impact of an acting physical measurand.The implemented system will then evaluate and its indicate possible applications in industry.
