Abstract
The main purpose of this thesis was to create a user friendly software for solving
the problems of steel rods with combination of strain and bend. The software should
offer to its users a complex tool. Its main functionality is making assessments for
solved problems. Next, the software helps to present the results since it can export a
text output, and furthermore, it describes the computation details in each step. This
thesis should serves as a user manual for the software, here, used formulas are shown
and the difference between solving the problem in hand and by the software Optima
Steel LT is demonstrated on solved example.
