Zpřístupněný pegmatitový důl Na Kole u Domažlic: geovědní interpretace, vizuální prezentace a potenciál pro geoturismus

Abstract

This bachelor thesis presents a comprehensive evaluation of the accessible pegmatite mine "Na Kole" near Domažlice (Otov municipality). The main objective is to create up-to-date digital documentation of the underground spaces based on new field surveys and to interpret their geological structure. For data collection, a modern digital mapping method (so-called paperless mapping) using the DistoX laser rangefinder was employed, allowing for the fixation of 92 survey points. The thesis documents the distinct internal zoning of the pegmatite body, its mineralogical paragenesis (including rare phosphates), and technical remains of historical muscovite and feldspar mining. The outputs of the work include map documentation (ground plan, cross-sections) and a proposal for an educational promotional leaflet, which serves to popularize the site and support regional geotourism in the Domažlice region.
