Hodnocení finanční výkonnosti firmy Maxion Wheels Czech s.r.o.

Abstract

The theme of this Diploma thesis is financial performance evaluation of a company Maxion Wheels Czech s.r.o. between 2013 – 2017. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate performance by financial analysis, bankruptcy and bonity models and economic value added. Thesis is divided into five chapters, first chapter is introduction and fifth chapter is final conclusion. Second chapter deals with theoretical approaches that are later used in practical part of thesis. It describes financial analysis methods, performance evaluation summarizing models, methodology of determination of economic value added and pyramid decomposition. Third chapter of this thesis focuses on the general characteristics of Maxion Wheels Czech s.r.o. along with the application of financial analysis as well as bankruptcy and bonity models. Gradually, it gets to determination of economic value added, which is decomposed to partial influences by functional method together with return on equity. Fourth chapter is dedicated to comparison of selected indicators of company with overall sector and results evaluation.
