Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is an valuation of company Znovín Znojmo, a.s. under risk on January 1, 2017. The valuation is made with the two-step DCF method, which is based on total capital. In the first part of the thesis there are described the basic theoretical starting points, which are applied in the practical part on the chosen company. This theoretical part includes a description of basic concepts, process of valuation and valuation methods. Also there are defined methods for determining the cost of capital. In the application part of the thesis there is company characterized and also there is made the strategic and the financial analysis. Subsequently, are the input parameters estimated and the company is evaluated. In order to determine the value of the company, two variants of solutions are obtained. The difference between the two variants of solutions goes from the different approach in the prediction of sales. Then the results are compared and in the conclusion of the thesis there is a sensitivity analysis performed.
