Abstract

The thesis is focused on valuation of the company operating in the food industry. The thesis is diveded into two main parts – theoretical and practical. It is further diveded into six main chapters, which are subsequently developer in individual subsections. The firts chapter is an introduction. The second chapter is focused on the theroetical basis of buiness vauluation and serves as a basis for the practical part of the work. The third chapter is focused on company characteristics and strategic analysis of selected company. The fourth chapter is focused on the practical part of the work. The practical part consists of a financial analysis in the years 2018-2022 and a valuation of the company as of 31.12.2022. The fifth part of the theses consists of en evaluation of the results, a compariosn of the results of individual valuation methods and recommendations fort the company. The last part of the thesis is the conclusion.
