Abstract

The diploma thesis, which is divided into a theoretical and practical part, deals with the inspection of electrical equipment.The types of grids and electrical equipment are described in the theoretical section. The practical part includes a brief description of the basic legislation concerning inspections of electrical equipment and it is followed by an analysis of external influences on electrical equipment, an overview of basic measuring instruments, a method of implementation, a classification of inspections and a breakdown of various inspection reports. The aim is to provide a basic comprehensive overview of current legislation and to make “recommendations” for maintenance and for designers based on processed analyses, practical tasks and achieved knowledge. The practical part of the thesis comprises three tasks that resolve two revisions of electrical devices and measurements of soil resistivity. These tasks served as the basis for audit reports and the basis for the design of earthing system in the reconstruction of overhead line HV 22kV No. 69. The analysis of inspection reports deals with various common mistakes or deficiencies in the inspection reports. This work may serve as a “manual” on how to proceed in implementing inspections of electrical equipment and compiling audit reports. In the conclusion an assessment of achieved results with a view of further project development is carried out.
