Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the study of selected heterotrophic leaching of lead minerals using selected bacterial strains of Cupriavidus, Rhodococcus and Pseudomonas. The aim of this work was to verify the properties of resistance of these strains and their efficiency in the process bioleaching, which leads to the release of lead from selected minerals. Bioleaching process was monitored over 4 weeks using the selected bacterial strains, which included collection strains, new isolates from sites with anthropogenic contamination of toxic metals. The results show a significant solubilizing ability of bacteria to the release of lead from monitored minerals, the most effective bacterial strain showed a new isolate of Pseudomonas chlororaphis ZK-1, which could release up to 9,59 % lead.
