Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with waste with a focus on municipal waste and its management, waste management in the world and in Europe with a focus on Germany and the Czech Republic. There is also information on packaging and packaging waste, and finally how these terms relate to retail waste. At the end of the thesis, a practical part is attached, namely the analysis of waste in the Jeseník branch of the retail chain Jednota, consumer cooperative Zábřeh.
