Měření optického vysílače pro vnitřní bezvláknové optické sítě založené na optických vláknech

Abstract

The target of this bachelor thesis is to construct optical transmitters based on optical fibers and subsequently to test their qualities. By the qualities it is meant the measuring of performance qualities of optical transmitters in the space of differently defined surface in the darkroom. The first part of the bachelor thesis deals with the theoretical part concerning indoor free space optical networks, their dividing, comparison of advantages and disadvantages, then optical lentils and defects, which can occur. The last theoretical part deals with optical fibers, their dividing and qualities. The second part of the bachelor thesis concerns the practical part. At first, the thesis is focused on creation of polystyrene products for measuring. The priciple of their usage and application is realized for measuring with 7 and 19 fibers. Then it concerns producing and application of lentils. The third part deals with experimental measuring of the optical transmitter for multimode fiber with parameters 50/125 µm, 62,5/125 µm a 105/125 µm. The differencies during the measuring with and without lentils and during the measuring by 7 and 19 fibers are obvious. The thesis is ended by evaluation of differencies of performance qualities.
