Abstract
The subject of the diploma thesis is the preparation of a static assessment for the supporting structure of an office building based on an existing architectural study in the Rabča village. The load-bearing elements and the foundation structure were assessed in terms of ultimate and serviceability limit states according to the applicable standards. A steel skeleton with composite slabs of trapezoidal sheet metal and concrete was selected as the main load-bearing system. As part of the calculation, the loads acting on the structure were analysed, from which the structural design was derived. The thesis also includes a study of the behaviour of the different types of membranes in the SCIA Engineer calculation software, with which the floor structure was modelled, as well as the drawings included in the appendix.
