Abstract
The subject of the thesis is implementation of ISO/TS 16949 standard in terms of steel production in the company of ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. Production activities of the company are focusing mainly on production and processing of hot metal and steel and rolled products production. The aim of thesis is a proposal defining quality system according to ISO/TS 16949 in the organizational structure of steel production and evalute the contribution of implementing standard for the company´s operations. Fot the implement it was carry out analysis of standard, definition quality system and proposals for improving quality and application methods.
