Abstract
This thesis deals with road transportation of dangerous goods in the European Union and the United States of America. It includes dangerous goods transport accident survey and valid regulations. This thesis is focused on classification, marking, packing and shipping papers according to The European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road for Europe and Code of Federal Regulation 49 for the United States of America. Afterwards, these two regulations are compared and evaluated.
