Abstract

This master thesis deals with creating a PLC control program for monitoring blast furnace process variables and their subsequent visualization on HMI panels. It describes the issues and measurement of analog values. It also describes the development environment and the control system, its components, and the creation of the program structure. It then describes the development of the individual parts of the program for measuring and processing the required values. The following section describes the design of the visualization and simulation application. Finally, the thesis discusses testing the developed parts and the resulting applications.
