Abstract
The subject of this master´s thesis is the valuation of companies. The goal is to determine the objectified value of company Alfa using selected methods. The master´s thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The purpose of the theoretical part is to clarify the basic concepts concerning the valuation of companies, it is also focused on the description of the valuation process and on the characteristics of selected valuation techniques. The practical part includes a brief introduction to company Alfa and the field in which it operates, as well as an analysis of its external and internal potential (overall strategic analysis), and the projection of future sales. Additionally, the company is pre-estimated using value generators. Finally, the company is valued using the discounted cash flow method in the entity variant.
