Abstract
The thesis primarily focuses on the design, construction, and implementation of the firmware for a photovoltaic sonde. The key element of the solution is the measurement of ambient light intensity, from which values of solar radiation intensity are subsequently obtained. The sonde is also equipped with a solar panel on which it can measure voltage and current. However a crucial role in this project play the precise monitoring and analysis of ambient lighting. The sonde is designed for outdoor use and includes a feature for remote firmware updates. The thesis further elaborates on the implementation of a web API that enables communication with the sonde and provides a brief description of the development of a web application for efficient presentation and analysis of the acquired data.
