The subject of my bachelor thesis titled Housing for scientists at Landek is preparation of project documentation for the realization of accommodation facilities with the character of the housing of a family house in the suburban area of Ostrava – Petřkovice in mining-geological premises of Landek. The proposal builds on the work of Studio works III. of the years 2011/2012, which referred to the proposal for a scientific center in the premises of Landek. Landek functions as a workplace for local researchers, but also for scientists, who are under short-term or long-term placements. The task is to create a variable housing the character of the family house for their accommodation. Influencing factor is whether it will be a list of one person, groups of colleagues, in the case of long-term placements with partner or whole family. The house is for him only the dwelling place, a place to rest, the other part of the area is intended for his work. The solution is becoming terraced housing, which contains two types of houses. The basis for the elaboration of this work has been architectural study of their Studio works I. and the documentation for building permit processed in the subject of the Penthouse of the formation of Va.
