Assessment of the economic situation of the company in the production of plastic packaging

Every company needs to know and follow their economic and financial situation, so the additional financial analysis and assessment methods are integral part of financial management. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the economic situation of the company Granitol a.s. based on indicators of financial analysis and analysis of SPACE and then propose solutions to optimize and resolve the anomalies detected. Using financial analysis has been identified as the financial situation of the company, and its development in the years 2007 - 2010. Using SPACE analysis was found appropriate strategy, the company should take advantage of its further development. To determine the indicators of financial analysis, financial statements were used of company’s annual reports, namely the balance sheet and profit and loss account. To create a model of SPACE analysis and Kralick QUICK test was drawn from a structured interview with the CFO of the company. Using economic analysis was found that Granitol a.s. is a thriving company with a moderate incidence of variations.
