ABSTRACT ROJÍČKOVÁ, L. Strategic Management of Small Business The bachelor’s thesis deals with contemporary methods of strategic analysis in the context of small and middle-size enterprise. The aim of the work is to analyse current financial situation and market position of an existing small firm by means of selected methods of strategic analysis and subsequently propose a strategy directed towards securing its business in the future. The theoretical part offers a general overview of the most important methods of strategic analysis used for identification of strategic factors that may influence business activities of small and middle-sized companies regardless of what field of business they are in. The practical part deals with strategic analysis of the selected firm while applying the theoretical methods stated in the previous part. All the business environment factors as well as all the in-company factors are studied in relation to adult education as it is the field of business where the selected firm operates.
