Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the ethical regulation of advertising in the Czech Republic and Great Britain, with a primary focus on the area of children. The aim of the thesis is to compare the differences in the regulation in the mentioned countries.
The theoretical part focuses on the definition of two main concepts, which are advertising and the child. It also deals with the different advertising media, the ability of children to understand advertising messages, and the impact of advertising on these individuals. The main part is devoted to the legal and ethical regulation of advertising in the Czech Republic and the Great Britain.
The practical part is based on a comparison of the ethical regulation of advertising in relation to children in the given countries, based on which differences are found. In conclusion, an evaluation is made and recommendations for possible changes are proposed.
