Vliv přímých zahraničních investic na vývoj HDP v České republice

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the relationship between foreign direct investments and economic growth in the Czech Republic. Thesis is based on theoretical and empirical literature focused on this topic. This investments may affect the host economy by multiple negative or positive effects. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of foreign direct investments on economic growth in the Czech Republic. For this purpose it is used panel data analysis of regions of the Czech Republic. The thesis shows that foreign direct investments has positive impact on economics growth where the strongest effect of this investments is detected with tree year delay.
