Abstract

The aim of the thesis is not only familiar with the historical development of legislation employee entitlements upon termination of employment since the Czech Republic, the date 1st January 1993 to the current legislation in force at 31st March 2012, but also with the reasons that led to changes in legislation in the period. In the first part of the thesis is described the employment relationship, its origin and methods of termination of employment. Also in this section is described the time evolution of a termination of employment. In the second part of the thesis are described employee entitlements on termination of an employment relationship. In the last part of this work is detailed temporal evolution of these entitlements and the reasons for which was the legislation of this entitlements from 1st January 1993 changed.
