Abstract

This thesis deals with financial controlling of a production company. The thesis is divided into three interconnected sections. The theoretical section concerns with theoretical issues of company controlling. It defines the concept of controlling, its objectives, functions, tasks and organizational incorporation. The second part of the theoretical section is focused on theoretical definition of financial controllership; its objectives, functions, tasks and tools, which are financial analysis, financial planning, and evaluation of the financial plan. The practical section focuses on the introduction of a selected production company and on its current financial controlling state analysis. The suggestion section is derived from the acquired information; it contains recommendations and suggestions to specify the area of financial controlling of the selected production company.
