Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on working and extension of the REx630 protection, witch is worked with as part of completing my professional individual practice at ABB s.r.o. The first part was located at ABB headquarters in Ostrava, where the main task was to create and improve setting tables for the protection of the Relion family. The prepared tables help mainly in terms of time. They facilitate project proposals when specific protection settings are prepared in tables in basic values with possibility of setting in the limits of specific protection. The second part was located at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the laboratory EB015, where there is a laboratory table with RET630 and REF630 protections. This section describes the extension of the laboratory table with binary inputs, outputs and software blocking of switch field contactors.
