Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with private banking and in the practical part its offer in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this work is to use mathematical methods to choose the optimal variant of private banking from a selected set of bank providers for a fictitious client.
More and more young people in particular are beginning to enter the financial world, and they now receive more attention and power than they did before. This work can also enrich a lot of people with knowledge, as it is a relatively unknown topic. In addition to the theoretical approach to private banking, this work also discusses the theory of the financial system and its parts, in order to create a context for private banking. In the practical part, this work uses the Saaty method to determine the weights of the criteria and the AHP method to determine the optimal variant.
After the application of the method, a decision will be made and the optimal variant will be determined according to the preferences and requirements of the fictitious client. The results of the practical part cannot be stated as universally applicable in everyday life, as they were determined subjectively, but the determination methodology is fully applicable to any potential client.
