Abstract

My Bachelor’s thesis deals with the matter of interconnection of the geographical informational system and monitoring system Zabbix. In the thesis is created an application that adds new components into the monitoring system Zabbix influencing work with spatial unit of the devices that are monitored. In the first part, the thesis covers an explanation of the function of monitoring system Zabbix. It depicts reverse process of database and web front-end Zabbix and the interconnection of the results with the spatial database PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Subsequently, the thesis deals with the creation of pilot’s map application, which helps to represent the devices that are monitored together with the spatial localization. In the final part of the thesis, it is possible to see a short manual for usage of the newly created attributes in the monitoring system Zabbix and the pilot’s application.
